Blah.
I set my alarm to 7am this morning, in hope of regulating my sleep pattern back to school. It didn't work, pretty sure I turned it off without any recollection of doing so... So still tired. Cup of tea, incense, movies, sewing. A relaxing day before school...

T-shirt drawing.
I decided to draw on a t-shirt today with a laundry marker, it was harder drawing on material than I thought, so she turned out a bit wonky and fat headed...

Leaving Christchurch, hooray!
Off on a camping trip around the Westcoast tomorrow morning, parents changed plans, so now we're staying the first two nights at Lake Kanarie, then heading off to Charleston for two nights, then up to Gentle Annie's Point for two nights, and going to Karamea for a the day. Bringing four cameras to take loads of photos! I'll have no power/internet for that time, which is probably healthy... Getting back just in time for school. -."-

Off to Seddonville.
Off to a tiny desolate town with all the sandflies and none of the internet/power/house, called Seddonville on the Westcoast next week. I'm really not looking forward to it, especially because it's for a whole week stuck with 3 younger siblings in a small camping ground. I think I will just go on a 'scenic walk' and never come back. Going so late in the holidays also means I miss out on 2 birthday parties I was looking forward to. D: I guess a break from all the earthquakes and boringness of Christchurch will be nice though.

Book from my Grandma.
My Granny gave me this cute little book, for all my ideas, doodles, words, anything! In it she wrote;
"To Lucy, I hope you enjoy collecting little pearls wherever you find them, to light your way. If you don't mind, I'll put some of mine in here, to get you started! Love Granny." And in it she wrote - "Serenity, to accept the things I cannot change; courage, to change the things I can; wisdom, to know the difference."
She is so lovely, I spent the night with her discussing pretty much everything, eating my rather sour sorbet and homemade curry puffs, and curling up with her fluffy cat. :3
